Changelog

Welcome to our changelog page. This is where we keep you up-to-date with all the latest bug squashes, improvements and new features to Redreach 💪

  1. Enhanced Reddit Comment Suggestion Experience

    Improvement

We're thrilled to announce a major update to the Reddit comment box experience on Redreach.

    Here's what's new:

    AI Reply Suggestion Enhancements

    • 🎯 Custom One-Off Prompts: Need a personalized touch for a specific Reddit post? You can now generate one-off prompts for unique, AI-assisted replies that go beyond your existing templates.
    • 📂 Template Dropdown: The AI reply suggestion button now features a sleek dropdown menu, allowing you to choose from your AI comment templates effortlessly.
    • 📜 Generation History: Since the reply suggestion button now generates one comment at a time, we've added a history button. This lets you browse through previously generated comments, so you can pick the version you like best.

    Improved Usability

    • ⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts: Streamline your workflow with keyboard shortcuts. Use CMD+I for a custom single prompt or CMD+G to generate a comment using your predefined template.
    • 📝 Prompt Template Examples: Find handy examples in the Project Settings / Prompts section. These examples guide you in crafting your own prompt templates, perfect for reusing specific personas or patterns in Reddit comments.

    Continuous Improvement

We're listening to your feedback on AI comment suggestions and are committed to ongoing improvements. Expect more updates soon, and as always, if you have feedback, let us know!

    🕒 New Refresh Indicator

We've added a helpful new feature to keep you informed about your data updates. The sidebar now displays precise timing information showing exactly when your New Opportunities and Brand Mentions will refresh.

    • See countdown timers for both data types (e.g., "Next update Tomorrow at 06:00" for Opportunities)
    • Different refresh schedules for different data types, optimized for your plan level

This small but mighty addition helps you stay on top of your lead generation schedule and ensures you never miss an opportunity to engage with potential customers.

  4. Track Custom Keywords, Weekly Opportunities & Daily Mention Trackings

    New Feature 🚀

A big new update has just arrived and we can't wait to tell you all about it. Let's talk about custom keywords, weekly fresh opportunities and daily mentions.

Custom Tracked Keywords & Weekly Reddit Opportunities

    • New Opportunities Page (🆕): We know a lot of you have been requesting this feature, so we made it happen. In your Redreach dashboard, you'll find a new page called New Opportunities. This page showcases the latest and most relevant Reddit posts for your business, based on keywords identified by Redreach. By default, we select the top 15 best-performing keywords for you, but you can customize this list by adding, removing, or suggesting new keywords.

    redreach_new_opportunities_mini

    • 20 Tracked Keywords (2️⃣0️⃣): With your current Pro plan, you can now track up to 20 keywords, analyzed by the Redreach AI algorithm. You'll receive email notifications for new posts, which refresh every Sunday. This feature ensures you never miss a relevant post. You can adjust your keywords via the new keyword settings page.

    • Weekly Refresh of Opportunities (🔁): Every Sunday, your dashboard will be updated with a fresh batch of the most relevant Reddit posts, ensuring you always have the latest opportunities at your fingertips. Based on your feedback, we may adjust this cadence to better suit your needs, but for now, it aligns perfectly with user feedback.

    new-opportunties-email-alert

    • Unbeatable Value (💰): With 20 tracked keywords included in your current Pro plan, Redreach offers an unparalleled deal in AI keyword tracking. Unlike other tools that limit you to just a few keywords (I have seen some offering two), we provide two with a zero behind for the same price, making us the most cost-effective option on the market. If you're already subscribed, this 20-keyword limit is yours to keep as long as you remain subscribed. If you're considering joining, now is the perfect time to lock in this exceptional value before we introduce a new pricing plan. We'll also add additional plans for more keywords soon.

🔍 Daily Mentions of Your Brand and Competitors

    • Revamped Mentions Feature (✨): We've improved the mentions feature, now powered by Redreach AI, to filter out irrelevant mentions. We track mentions of your company domain and company name, as well as your competitors. Redreach does this to ensure we never miss any mentions. These brand mentions are monitored daily and do not count towards your keyword limit. Expect the first batch in the next two days.

  5. Let's get this rolling: First Big Redreach Update 🚀

    New Feature 🚀

Dom, found of Redreach here. Redreach just turned one week old and I want to thank every single one of you for the positive testimonials, amazing feedback and ideas. Redreach relies on your feedback. Together we can build a really valuable marketing tool!

    rr_update_2

With that being said, I'm happy to announce with you the first new updates that just got shipped to production. Much more coming soon but we need to start somewhere, right?

    Here's what's new:

    • Custom AI Prompts
    • View Your Most Relevant Subreddits
    • Flag Reddit posts & mentions that are written by yourself
    • Easier way to mark posts as replied
    • Redreach now remembers the last selected project on refresh
    • Comments are now by default abbreviated for a better reading experiences
    • Performance improvements such as faster loading posts & small UI tweaks for better browsing experience

Custom Prompts for AI Comment Suggestions

By default Redreach has three AI reply suggestion options for your post: Engaging, Direct & Balanced. While the feedback on these three custom prompts was good so far, we get that there's many more ways you'd want to mention your product. After all, it's your own brand voice.

    Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 23.28.07

Thus, from now on you can add custom AI prompts for the comment suggestions via your new project "Prompts" settings tab. The custom prompt will be fed into our AI generation engine which is already context aware of what your product does (based on your website content) as well as the given Reddit post.

    Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 23.27.08

We'll be writing up a guide soon on how to best write these new prompts. For now, feel free to take a look at the screenshots above. For example, as a starter you could try to let the AI come up with a more personal & founder oriented answer or maybe tell the AI a little bit more about your product for a more detailed response.

    See Your Most Relevant Subreddits

We have now added a way for you to quickly get an overview of your most relevant Subreddits. This can be particularly useful to identify which Subreddits you should spend most of your focus on. It's highly recommended to participate and share your own lessons in these Subreddits without necessarily mentioning your product all of the time. You want to build up your Subreddit "street cred" 😉

    Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 23.29.28

Flag your own Reddit posts & mentions

Either you have spent already a bit of time marketing your product on Reddit yourself or you are heavily using Redreach the results are the same: You'll end up seeing posts in Redreach that are naturally written by yourself. That is great! But it's also a bit annoying, isn't it? Ideally you want to see the posts that are written by accounts that you own. We listened to your feedback and... we made it happen.

    redreach-update-mypost

You can now add your own Reddit account user names via the project settings. Redreach will then flag post and mentions that are written by yourself with an orange dashed border and the badge "My post/comment"

    Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 23.19.10

Easier Way to Mark Posts As Replied

After you have clicked "Copy Comment & Open Reddit" Redreach will now automatically present a notification box at the bottom right that allows you to mark your post as replied faster once you come back.

    Screenshot 2024-10-29 at 23.30.45

As I said above, this is just the beginning :) There's many more things coming in the next few days and weeks, so stay tuned! As always, if you have any feedback or ideas please don't hesitate to reach out to me via hello@redreach.ai

    Best,

    Dom from Redreach
